Sally Albright: I'd Prefer 4 More Years Of Trump Than President Bernie Sanders

One of the main talking points used against Bernie Sanders and his supporters is that their lack of enthusiasm and support for Hillary Clinton in 2016 directly led to Donald Trump becoming president, with Sanders supporters being labelled as privileged and sexist for not backing Clinton, and yes that includes you misogynistic Jill Stein/Green Party voters!

However, our favourite anti-Bernie Democratic loyalist, Sally Albright, now insists that it isn’t pivotal that you support the Democratic nominee in order to defeat Donald Trump, should Sanders win the 2020 Democratic nomination. Albright recently claimed that “4 more years of Trump would be better in the long run” as opposed to a President Bernie Sanders. This comes after the “moderate” wing of the Democratic Party have spent the past three years suggesting that apathetic Sanders supporters are the cause of every terrible Trump decision and we’d be in a utopia if us sexists would have just fell in line behind Clinton.

In typical Sally Albright fashion, she has to make an over the top statement without any evidence to back it up. Sally’s social media presence is littered with anti-Bernie slander, calling him or his policy proposals racist or sexist, but she or anyone else in this crowd never explicitly explain how. The furthest Sally has ever gone in order to give us an explanation for her grandiose claims is that “income inequality is only a problem for white, cis men" even though median African-American families, have thirteen times less wealth than white families and Latino-American families have ten times less wealth than median white families. Simply put, you cannot believe a word Sally Albright and her ilk say.

We’ve previously written about Sally Albright and her time working for Republicans such as former Alabama Governor Robert Bentley and swooning - Sally’s words - over Donald Trump’s Secretary of Energy, Rick Perry, while Sally was attending the 2015 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and admitting to help raise funds for Perry's SuperPac and if I’m being completely honest, Sally’s hypocrisy knows no bounds.

After all, this is a person who has previously worked for Republican Newt Gingrich because she needs to pay off her mortgage, the very same Newt Gingrich who just yesterday visited President Trump on a golfing trip. As I’ve previously said, as a person with left-wing views, I would never work to elect any Republicans, no matter the amount of money on offer. I believe it’s called having principles.

MSNBC Host Lawrence O'Donnell Explains How The Democratic Party Treats The Left

MSNBC's "The Last Word" host Lawrence O'Donnell describes his politics as a "practical European socialist", which essentially boils down to being a nordic-style social democrat, usually in favour of a mixed economy with a generous welfare state and has defended his positions on MSNBC news shows that typically frown upon stepping outside the neoliberal bubble. O'Donnell is no progressive hero in the context of american politics, sometimes scolding progressive politicians whenever they mildly criticize the Democratic Party, such as when Bernie Sanders tweeted about having to take on the Democratic establishment as well as Republicans, O'Donnell decided to concern troll Sanders by claiming that the Democratic establishment wouldn't pass Sanders' proposals if he wasn't nice to them. Over the course of the last few months an old video of O'Donnell explaining how to move the Democratic Party further left and how the party treats the p...

The President Is An Anti-Vaxxer

A lot can be said about the current President of the United States, Donald Trump and his basic understanding of science and scientific consensus on dividing issues such as climate change and the supposed adverse effects of vaccinations. Most responses involve ridiculing his proposterous statements. As I was reading articles detailing the recent measles and smallpox outbreaks in North Carolina, the tweet pictured above was one of the first related searches I came across and even for someone as scientifically ignorant as Donald Trump, it was honestly shocking. One American state in particular, North Carolina, known for its lawmakers controversial stances such as the so-called  ‘Bathroom Bill’ , - which has cost the state the 2017 NBA All-Star game, billions of dollars and companies such as PayPal and CoStar Group have pulled out planned expansions from the state, losing over a thousand jobs - and now their reluctance to ensure children are vaccinated has brought back the ...
