Recent reports have been released, supposedly from people within the Warren campaign, claiming that during a 2018 private meeting over dinner between Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, Sanders told Warren that a woman could not win the presidency in 2020. According to the releases, the two discussed their 2020 plans and both agreed that they both planned to enter the presidential race and Warren mentioned if she thought a female candidate could win the presidency, to which Bernie supposedly told Warren that a women wouldn't be able to win in 2020. Hours after initial news reporting on the subject Warren released a statement in which she stated that Sanders told her that a woman would not be able to win the presidency, leading to claims of sexism and news reports claiming that Sanders has always had a "gender problem". One of the main talking points used against Bernie Sanders and his supporters is that their lack of enthusiasm and support for Hillary Clinton in 2016 directly led to Donald Trump becoming president, with Sanders supporters being labelled as privileged and sexist for not backing Clinton, and yes that includes you misogynistic Jill Stein/Green Party voters! However, our favourite anti-Bernie Democratic loyalist, Sally Albright, now insists that it isn’t pivotal that you support the Democratic nominee in order to defeat Donald Trump, should Sanders win the 2020 Democratic nomination. Albright recently claimed that “ 4 more years of Trump would be better in the long run ” as opposed to a President Bernie Sanders. This comes after the “moderate” wing of the Democratic Party have spent the past three years suggesting that apathetic Sanders supporters are the cause of every terrible Trump decision and we’d be in a utopia if us sexists would have just fell in line behind Clinton. Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has had to endure an abundance of criticism during his two attempts to enter the Oval Office, such as the cost of his major policy proposals (Medicare For All, $15/hr minimum wage or Universal Childcare etc) and those are legitimate concerns to have and you would hope that Sanders could answer those questions. However, should you spend far too much time on social media like I do, you’ll soon notice the anti-Sanders enclaves that will use anything and everything, no matter how ridiculous, to hinder his presidential chances - including using the image above to suggest he’s either racially insensitive or just a racist in general.  As you can see, Sanders is pictured above posing for a photo with a black man while Bernie holds the fried chicken that, we assume, the man cooked. Self appointed Hillary Clinton and People of Colour defender Candice Aiston took a short break from likening Hillary Clinton to Jesus and claiming that Democrats were literally 'entitled' to the votes of minority groups in order to write a truly awful  article   suggesting that Bernie Sanders supporters essentially target aforementioned minority groups who do not share their politics and dig up old tweets which could be seen as controversial in order to "silence women and POC". We will now take great delight in explaining how Candice is being extremely disingenuous when discussing the interactions between Democrats and left-wing accounts on social media. Firstly, it must be said that some of the tweets from left-wing accounts Candice uses to back up her stance are extremely worrying, whether they happen to be in jest or not. In our last piece , we discussed how Sally Albright, in her pursuit of "bringing back liberal" (whatever that actually means), has consistently alienated left-wing voters and essentially foams at the mouth with propaganda about how progressives "don't know politics" and how we are complicit in electing Donald Trump as we didn't all trip over each other in order to vote for Hillary Clinton, even though she isn't entitled to our votes, she has to earn them and that was not the case. After further research on Sally's extreme dishonesty when it comes to her selective political outrage, we have found her driving force for twisting words, spreading damaging rhetoric and punching left. To put it kindly, Sally Albright is a bigoted woman who spouts nothing but false, derogatory rhetoric towards anyone who dares to support an actual progressive politician. Having the unfortunate task of scrolling through the social media posts in which she will automatically label you a "BernieBro" or a "terrible person" for having the audacity to agree with the policy positions of people like Bernie Sanders, Nina Turner or Tulsi Gabbard, has been a literal nightmare. Sally uses her standing on social media to spread propaganda about people and politicians who have the audacity to move leftwards on the political spectrum and has a history of continually being found out, but still proceeds to use falsehoods against anyone who disagrees with her, often using terms like "Berners" or "BernieBro's" and once again twisting this as negative to smear anyone and everyone on the left.
