Just How Islamophobic Is The UK Conservative Party?

Sayeeda Warsi, former Chair of the Conservative Party Should you switch on any mainstream news program or read any mainstream news articles you would be mistaken for thinking that the Labour Party was a cesspool of anti-semitism and racism, with figures such as Alan Sugar ridiculously comparing Jeremy Corbyn to former German leader, Adolf Hitler.  While any leftist criticism  of Israel and its policy regarding Palestine is spun and twisted to suggest that anytime you speak up for Palestinian rights or a two-state solution is anti-semitic, those who throw around accusations of anti-semitism and racism clearly have issues regarding racism and in this instance, Islamophobia in the UK Conservative Party. There are genuine instances of anti-semitism surrounding the Left, with George Galloway's  "no Israel flags"  tweet during last year's Champions League Final coming to mind - this is was deemed a hateful statement by losing finalists Tottenham Hotspur FC, a cl...

Far-Right “Journalist” Disproves His Own Talking Point About Terrorism In Sweden

I personally think it would be fair to say that even many people on the Right don’t take Peter Sweden seriously, and essentially every leftist I know uses Peter and his tweets for comedic purposes. For example, there’s the time this extremely brilliant thinker tweeted that Sweden’s public transport system is communist, or his rant on the time someone told him that Swedish meatballs are actually from Turkey.. which they are. One of the first results that show up when you search “Peter Sweden” is a reference to his meatball rant, anyway it’s honestly comedy gold and you can watch it  here . So, if you haven’t already gathered, Peter’s political analysis is severely lacking and should not be taken seriously whatsoever, further proven by the tweet pictured above. Peter views himself as an on-the-ground reporter, travelling to the areas of Sweden which are supposedly the most dangerous, with some even being branded “no-go zones” - areas where the native population dare step foot i...

DAILY MAIL COMMENTS: The Only Way To Achieve Brexit Is To Literally KILL All 650 MP's

The Daily Mail comments section is never the most sane and well-reasoned place on the best of days, declaring anyone who opposes the harshest exit from the European Union a "traitor" or even praising  Adolf Hitler , you know, the guy responsible for an attempted ethnic cleansing of the Jews? Lovely fellow, as it turns out. Another trip into what I like to describe as the depths of politics hell is this gem, a staunch brexiteer literally advocating for the murder of the 650 elected members of parliament. The major irony in the comments from far-right individuals such as these is that while calling for the slaying of 650 people, they have the gall to then turn around and act like anyone who opposes them are the immoral ones, it's all well and good to advocate for such horrors, but should you oppose the conservative view of a 'hard-Brexit', you're the one who's apparently guilty of an "unforgivable crime". That's right, not the guy who jus...

Daily Mail Readers LITERALLY Praise Adolf Hitler

A rather amusing Twitter account by the name of "The DM Reporter" which details the bigoted ramblings within both the Daily Mail newspaper and their comments section, allowed the racist nature of people who read the Mail to be laid bare. The Mail decided to discuss Nazi-era propaganda pictures attempting to show Adolf Hitler's apparent tender-hearted personality. Now, to be fair to the Daily Mail on this one particular instance, it wasn't the article which attempted to sympathise with Hitler and how he was portrayed, but their readers. The Daily Mail comments section isn't the most reasoned place as it is, but when you throw in one of history's worst villans, you should expect widespread condemnation, no matter your political leanings, Mail readers decided to insinuate that there was a media smear operation against Hitler, and he actually wasn't all that bad. By far my favourite comment from those pictured above is the very first, as if people with...
