Televangelist Pat Robertson recently took a break from blaming natural disasters on gay people to attempt to comfort a Christian mother who wrote into Robertson's show, The 700 Club, to ask why God allowed her fifteen year old son to pass away in January 2017 and Pat decided to answer this question in his usual, horrific style. The mother, Cristina, wrote in to Robertson on the 700 club in order to get some answers as to why God would take her son away when they have been nothing faithful to "their Lord". Her question was this, " My fifteen year old son was killed January 26th, 2017. My question for you is: why does our Father allow us to go through this pain and torment? As a mom, I do everything in my power to protect my kids from this. What is the point? I am confused and angry. Please help me understand. I have been faithful to the Lord alone, so why?"
