Kamala Harris and her 2020 Presidential campaign have decided against attending CNN’s “Climate Crisis” town hall in favour of attending fundraisers in Los Angeles, where rich Hollywood folk will bundle money together in order to support her campaign. Activists such as RL Miller of  Climate Hawks Vote  and the Sunrise Movement , among others, were monumental in there even being a Debate/Town Hall on the impending climate crisis to begin with, in which ten of the more than twenty Democratic presidential hopefuls have qualified for. The aforementioned groups felt that as a country and as a planet, the topic of climate change needed much more of a spotlight than a single question at the tail end of other Democratic primary debates. Rick Joyner is just another conservative fundamentalist christian among a plethora of like-minded televangelists who have made ridiculous statements about President Trump's time in office. Joyner has a history of simply being wrong, roughly two years ago he claimed to have done some math and has worked out that since earth is '6,000' years old, this coincides with the first six days of the week, which means God is coming back on the seventh day or the sabbath. Essentially claiming that God was returning soon. However, Mr. Joyner may have outdone himself in this particular instance as he claims that abortion and sin are to blame for Hurricane Florence, not climate change. Hurricane Florence was a Category 4 major hurricane with winds reaching 130 miles per hour and lasted two weeks, from the end of August to the middle of September. The Democratic Party have seemingly decided against being the party of the average, everyday American and have instead chosen to represent the fossil fuel industry in a shocking turn of events. Just kidding, this is exactly who the Democratic Party are and have been for a long time. Way, way back in June 2018, The Hill  reported   that Democrats would no longer accept donations from fossil fuel companies. The motion was introduced by Christine Pelosi, a member of the Democratic National Committee and daughter of House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), this was a proposal that would galvanise both progressives and environmental advocates. The proposal went after fossil fuel corporations, stating: "Fossil fuel corporations are drowning our democracy in a tidal wave of dark oily money; they have deceived the public about the impact of climate change, fought the growth of clean renewable energy and corrupted our political system." Thankfully, Roy Moore is now a defeated Alabama Senate candidate as opposed to being the man heading to represent Alabama in Washington and this is mainly due to several women who came forward to claim that Moore had made advances to them while they were under the age of consent, with Moore being in his early thirties. A little while later, allegations surfaced that former Democratic Senator Al Franken had inappropriately groped several women, with around eight women coming forward. Now for the hypocrisy. Several Democrats decided to use their Twitter platform to try and protest Franken's innocence, with an account even named "Al Franken is innocent", from an extremely pro-Democrat account, we're sure there is no partisanship to see here, none whatsoever.
