Following on from an older article we wrote about the frankly laughable lies conservatives like to spread about Ilhan Omar, they seem to have truly outdone themselves now.  Previously, Omar's detractors created easily falsifiable claims about her, claims that could be disproven from a ten second google search and a cursory read, but nevertheless they persist.  This time around, the very same people believe that the FBI are going to literally arrest Omar. The reasoning behind this is that Omar supposedly married her brother, which has of course been repeated by every right-wing 'news' outlet and even President Trump himself repeated the claim at a campaign rally. Of course something as simple as a birth certificate proves this isn't even remotely true. This didn't stop Chuck Woolery and his idiotic following tweeting out an article claiming that Omar had been 'nabbed by the FBI' and simply lapping it up without even questioning how ridiculous they sound.  FB...

At a recent Bernie Sanders campaign rally in Iowa, Sanders surrogate Rashida Tlaib caused controversy when instead of quieting a crowd that was booing Hillary Clinton when she was mentioned by name, Tlaib instead stated: " No we're gonna boo, we're gonna boo. When we win the haters will shut up. " This angered the media class and voters that wouldn't have even supported Sanders in the first place. The 'Very Serious People' of online Democratic discourse slammed Tlaib, claiming that she was being divisive and harming Sanders chances in the upcoming primary. Some went a step further, claiming that Tlaib wasn't a true ally to women and their struggles if she was jabbing at Hillary Clinton, while others made videos screaming " f*ck Rashida Tlaib " into the camera for their Twitter bubble and others want her to be primaried and removed from Congress. Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib endorse Bernie Sanders for President. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are three quarters of a group of relatively new and incredibly popular Congresswomen known as "The Squad", and they dominated the news cycles during Tuesday's Democratic Primary debate when it was announced that they would all be endorsing Bernie Sanders' 2020 Presidential bid. Ilhan Omar’s mere presence as the first Somali-American and one of the first Muslim Congresswomen - along with Rashida Tlaib -  does tend to ruffle a few feathers among the more bigoted politicians and news pundits, much like those who insisted that former President Barack Obama wasn’t American and was actually a Muslim who was born in Kenya. Just as former President Barack Obama had ridiculous and debunked conspiracy theories surrounding him - so does Ilhan Omar. Omar’s journey to Congress was extremely reminiscent of that “American Dream” you hear so much about. Omar was born in Mogadishu, Somalia and had to flee from the Somali Civil War which had seen the country plunge into a system of total anarchy.
