Pro-Trump Website Lists Laughable Donald Trump 'Accomplishments'

Should you decide to torture yourself and type "magapill.com" into your chosen browser, you will be met with a long list of sitting President Donald Trump's so-called 'accomplishments'. The right-wing site has several different sections, from Trump's accomplishments to news on the current President and some opinion articles that will most definitely cause you to lose the majority of your brain cells.

The site mainly focuses on Trump's economic accomplishments even though the current President has only been in office for little over a year, meaning that his proposals wouldn't of had enough time to take an effect on such a large economy, as well as the upward trends in things such as the Stock Market, private sector jobs and the federal deficit - which Republicans LOVE to complain about - was cut roughly three-quarters from what is was when George Bush left office, are mostly thanks to Barack Obama.
Let's go through the list of Donald Trump Accomplishments and see how many of them actually hold any weight:
  • Senate passes sweeping tax reform, 20% Corporate Rate, Largest in 21 years - Yes, passing a Bill which the CBO has said would severely hurt people earning less than $30,000 a year in short order, while mostly benefitting the richest Americans. By 2027, the CBO said that people earning $75,000 a year and below would see their taxes increase as a group because individual tax cuts are expiring at the end of 2025.
  • Mining up 28.6% - Leads Nation In Growth - Who doesn't love damaging the environment with large amounts of mining? The piece that 'magapill' links to also states that Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing and Hunting had decreased by 10.6% and is attributed to the decrease in growth within 25 US States. What an accomplishment.
  • Trump's HHS defines life as beginning at point of conception - Seriously? Life does not begin at conception. It can be argued that life begins at roughly 22-30 weeks within a pregnancy as this is when babies are nearly fully formed, the heart is beating and all the anatomical (bodily) features must also be functional for a fetus to feel pain, which happens at 30 weeks.
  • Iran Deal: DECERTIFIED. - The Iran Deal that Obama signed limited the amount of material that Iran could acquire. The deal stated that they could not acquire the amount of uranium needed to build nuclear weapons. Without the Deal, Iran has an open path towards gaining nuclear weapons.
  • Trump stops attacks on Judeo-Christian Values - Over 70% of America identify as Christian. You have to make a cake for some gay guys, big woop. Your 'religious liberty' doesn't get to take away the "Equal protection under the law" Constitutional Right. You are not under attack.
  • General Mattis Claims Isis are 95% eradicated - They link to their own MagaPill article, that is all that needs to be said here.
  • Trump abandons the Obama-era Clean Power Plan aimed at reducing Global Warming - Do we really have to say anything? It's literally 99% of Scientists vs Jim Inhofe, the man who brought a snowball into Congress to suggest Global Warming is a hoax.
  • US and Israel withdraw from UNESCO, citing "Anti-Israel Bias" - Israel literally gets everything it wants from Western nations - Iron Dome is an example - while the ethnically cleanse Palestinians, destroy their homes to turn them into Israeli Settlements, clearly nothing to see here.
  • Trump calls for increased military, Senate passes $700B Defense BillAmerica already has a larger military than the next six to seven countries combined, $700 Billion could pay for a whole host of programmes for American people but instead will top up an already gigantic military.
  • President Trump has signed 53 Bills into law - So? This is an issue of quality over quantity. One of the 53 Bills meant that Internet Service Providers are now able to collect and share your data without your permission, sounds slightly unconstitutional to us.
  • Trump Signs Order Rolling Back Environmental Rules On Infrastructure - Who doesn't love factories pumping out harmful gases into the environment, right? Clearly not doing the bidding of their donors here.
  • Trump wipes out 800 Obama-era federal regulations - The very FIRST regulation the piece states has been cut is one that made companies reduce venting, flaring and methane leaks from oil and gas production on federal and tribal land. Do they even read these regulations before cutting them?
  • EPA'S Scott Pruitt moves to remove over 30 environmental regulations in record time - One of the regulations that we were cut was to reinstate a banned pesticide that is harmful to children's health. Chlorpyrifos is extremely harmful to children and farm workers, but who the hell cares, right?
  • Mosul liberated from ISIS - Do they seriously think, that within six months (Jan-Jul) that Trump enacted changes to the Military that were so different from Obama's that they liberated Mosul under his command, and his command only? Surely not.
  • Trump signs a $15B Relief Package for Texas in the wake of Hurricane Harvey - Okay, good. Now, what about Puerto Rico? Oh, thats right, they're still without electricity and water, also had a private company that was tied to Trump win a large contract in order to help PR, nothing fishy happening here at all.
  • Trump Admin Repeals Clean Water Rule - Who needs clean water any way, way too overrated. Thirty-Two States sued the EPA for this repeal and Republicans responded saying that the EPA is ruled by "Left-Wing Environmental Activists", lost any brain cells yet?
  • Trump Orders Voter Fraud Commission to Investigate 2016 Election - There was no voter fraud. Certainly not to the extent that Trump has claimed, anyway. Trump has stated that he won the popular vote as millions of illegal aliens voted for Hillary, nothing to do with his ego at all.
  • Rolling Back Of Regulations For Large Banks - Remember when we relaxed regulations on the banks and had the crash in 2008? Great times, great times indeed.
  • HHS To Repeal Birth Control Mandate Within ACA - These idiots do know that women need birth control for things other than preventing a pregnancy, right? Women take birth control for other reasons, such as Menstrual Migraines and can also lower cancer risks in high-risk women. Here are eight other symptoms that birth control helps women combat. This was described as a "religious liberty" bill, what about taking away the liberty and freedom of women to have their desired medication for issues that solely affect them?
  • Christian Refugees Admitted Now Outnumbers Muslim Refugees - A bigoted policy, nothing more. Funny how "religious liberty" never comes into play when the religion in question is Islam, or any other.
  • Signed $350B Arms Deal With Saudi Arabia - The supposed "tough of radical islamic terrorism" politician bowed down to the most extreme Islamic country there is, Saudi Arabia is an Islamic Theocracy which is currently committing genocide in Yemen.
  • TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) RESCINDED! - One of the only policies that Trump was better than Hillary Clinton on in the 2016 Election. The problem? Donald Trump is slipping in provisions of TPP into other Trade Deals, he also applauded several TPP provisions he claimed to hate during his recent trip to Asia.
That's all we can bare to suffer through, there are however many more 'accomplishments' on the list, most of them are as idiotic as the ones noted above. We took a selection of so-called Trump accomplishments from the top to the bottom of MagaPill's list and I'm sure that my IQ will be roughly 50 points lower than what it was previously.

MSNBC Host Lawrence O'Donnell Explains How The Democratic Party Treats The Left

MSNBC's "The Last Word" host Lawrence O'Donnell describes his politics as a "practical European socialist", which essentially boils down to being a nordic-style social democrat, usually in favour of a mixed economy with a generous welfare state and has defended his positions on MSNBC news shows that typically frown upon stepping outside the neoliberal bubble. O'Donnell is no progressive hero in the context of american politics, sometimes scolding progressive politicians whenever they mildly criticize the Democratic Party, such as when Bernie Sanders tweeted about having to take on the Democratic establishment as well as Republicans, O'Donnell decided to concern troll Sanders by claiming that the Democratic establishment wouldn't pass Sanders' proposals if he wasn't nice to them. Over the course of the last few months an old video of O'Donnell explaining how to move the Democratic Party further left and how the party treats the p...

MSNBC News Caught Faking Poll Numbers To Elevate Biden Above Bernie Sanders

If you were to believe recent polling figures in regards to the Democratic Primaries, Joe Biden is by far and away one of the most popular political figures in America, with his 2020 poll numbers giving him a 37 and 32 point lead over Bernie Sanders in the recent past. There has however been issues with some of the polls that have been undertaken and given Joe Biden his huge lead, such as the one pictured above, which shows Bernie leading Biden by 2% (27%-25%) among non-white voters, but you wouldn’t know that if you watched the MSNBC segment regarding the poll, in which Biden magically gains three percentage points in order to go ahead of Bernie in these demographics. Here’s another poll (CNN) that was used in order to show Sanders “plummeting support” and as you can see the poll includes zero respondents of anyone under the age of fifty. The problem being that Sanders base of support is largely made up of younger voters, so to not include any in a poll on Sanders is simply di...

Why The Labour Party Lost The UK Election

Whichever way you approach the recent UK election, it would be fair to say that the Labour Party experienced a drubbing, resulting in a loss of 60 seats and handing the Conservative Party a large parliamentary majority. There has however been a fierce debate surrounding the reasons for Labour’s defeat, reasons ranging from Brexit, Jeremy Corbyn himself or supposedly racist voters. This debate has deeply spilt the two main factions of the Labour Party, between moderates and progressives. Blairites vs Corbynistas if you will. Moderates place the blame solely at the feet of Jeremy Corbyn, his supposed anti-semitism and poor electability. Progressives see this defeat as a result of a Brexit backlash with many Leave voters leaving the Labour Party while the Conservative Party had one core message: “Get Brexit Done” which seemingly resonated. It is fair to suggest that Corbyn’s popularity isn’t exactly soaring, with the mere mention of his name bringing about a whole range of different...
