The Daily Mail comments section is never the most sane and well-reasoned place on the best of days, declaring anyone who opposes the harshest exit from the European Union a "traitor" or even praising Adolf Hitler, you know, the guy responsible for an attempted ethnic cleansing of the Jews? Lovely fellow, as it turns out.
Another trip into what I like to describe as the depths of politics hell is this gem, a staunch brexiteer literally advocating for the murder of the 650 elected members of parliament. The major irony in the comments from far-right individuals such as these is that while calling for the slaying of 650 people, they have the gall to then turn around and act like anyone who opposes them are the immoral ones, it's all well and good to advocate for such horrors, but should you oppose the conservative view of a 'hard-Brexit', you're the one who's apparently guilty of an "unforgivable crime".
That's right, not the guy who just called for the mass murder of those who disagree with him, you're the monster for voicing your opposition to Brexit, astounding really.
Reminds me when evangelical christians suggest that we should treat gay people as second-class citizens due to their sin, as they attempt to pass themselves off as the ones with the most character and morals.. because literally treating fellow humans as beneath you is the moral thing to do, which is an irony which these simpletons are incapable of seeing.
Maybe fine humans such as these are becoming more unstable because recent polling has found that if there was a second referendum on Brexit, or even a people's vote on the terms of Brexit would mean that the Remain vote would come out on top, 51-41%. Even one of hard-Brexit's most vocal supporters like former UKIP leader Nigel Farage has come out in favour of a second referendum, claiming that it would shut the Pro-EU voters and politicians up once and for all.
