At a recent Donald Trump rally in Mesa, Arizona, The Young Turks reporter Emma Vigeland interviewed Trump supporters with questions about the travelling migrant caravan that's heading to the US-Mexico border and the answers are about as bad as you would expect.
With Trump supporters being as conspiratorial as they are, the answers given to Vigeland ranged from shooting the migrants to get them to return home, questioning who is the secret big money source behind the caravan to the 'White Genocide' conspiracy theory.
Beginning with a Tucker Carlson segment where he complains about how many hispanics have immigrated to Hazelton, a small town in Pennsylvania which has seen it's hispanic population grow from 2% to 52% from 2002. The Trump supporters were then asked for their view on Carlson's Fox News statements.
A male Trump supporter, pictured above, told Vigeland that law enforcement should "just start shooting". He then added: "If they just shot at them a few times, they would go back."
A woman then told Vigeland that an alleged influx of "4,000" Latinos coming to the United States less than a month before the midterm elections is not a coincidence. "It doesn't just happen - it wasn't a grassroots overnight decision, it took some planning and somebody's behind it." This statement comes as several conservatives are alleging that George Soros was the financier behind the caravan in posts made on social media.
Another man told Vigeland that the overriding problem was the fact that white people "aren't producing enough children." Ah the 'Great Replacement' myth that has been debunked more times than I've had hot dinners.
"You have abortions, and the blacks, you need population growth. You need roughly 1.6 (million/billion?) or more in order for the economy to grow. And since we're not producing enough, or we are aborting them, you have no other choice except to bring in new blood and young people... so what's left is what you see."
