Florida Lawmakers Claim Pornography Is More Of A Health Risk Than Guns Following Florida School Shooting
Following the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on February 14th many of the young survivors have transformed into gun control advocates and formed an advocacy group called Never Again MSD , which began to gain traction on Twitter with the use of the hashtag # NeverAgain . Several prominent media personalities and politicians have praised the group of students on their activism, which has lead to the increasingly popular "the kids are alright", while many others admire their passion. The 'Never Again' facebook group created by the surviving students has amassed nearly 139,000 followers since the shooting, with celebrities such as George Clooney and Oprah Winfrey donating $500,000 each to the cause. As the kids fiercely fight to ensure that such shootings never take place again, several on the political right have began to mock the survivors without remorse, with criticisms ranging from "seventeen dead children doesn't affect my Second Amendment rights
